Section 1 has focused on pediatric critical care as discipline. The importance of communications in intensive care has been highlighted in Chapter 3. The importance of critical care transport and ultrasonography has been discussed in Section 2. Ethical issues have been clearly dictated in Section 3. Issues in cardiovascular, pulmonary critical care, neurology, renal, gastroenterology, hematology and oncology, and infections have been nicely covered in this book. They are exhaustive and elaborative. Principles of drug disposition and molecular mechanisms of drug action are highlight of the book.
